WHAT IS FIREHOUSE SHIRT Co?

IN 2011 WE STARTED AS FIREHOUSE SHIRT CLUB, AND LAST YEAR WE VENTURED INTO RETAIL.   NOW, WE ARE PROUD TO SAY THE CLUB IS STILL GOING STRONG, AND THE SAME GREAT QUALITY IS GIVEN TO THIS APPAREL COMPANY.  WE HAVE SOME OF THE BEST ARTISTS, SCREEN PRINTERS, MACHINES, EMBROIDERY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THIS FIELD OF FIREFIGHTER RETAIL.  FIREHOUSE SHIRT CO. IS A BRAND FOR THE HUMBLE TAILBOARDER; A HARD WORKING INDIVIDUAL WHO TAKES PRIDE IN THE CRAFT OF SELFLESSNESS - SOMEONE WHO SHOWS UP TO WORK EARLY, DOES THEIR JOB RIGHT, AND GOES HOME.  NO LOUD MOUTH, EGO-DRIVEN HOT HEADS HERE.

WHAT IS FIREHOUSE SHIRT CLUB?

IN 2011 THE FIRST, FIREFIGHTER SHIRT CLUB WAS BORN.  FORMER DALLAS AND McKINNEY FIREFIGHTER/PARAMEDIC JIM SCANO, LIKE MOST ENTHUSIASTS AND COLLECTORS, WAS ALWAYS LOOKING FOR WAYS TO GET HIS HAND ON UNIQUE, CLASSY, AUTHENTIC T-SHIRTS FROM OTHER FIREHOUSES.  HE WAS VISITING WITH HIS BUDDY ONE DAY AND CAME UP WITH THE IDEA THAT FIREHOUSE SHIRT CLUB COULD BE A PLACE WHERE FIREFIGHTERS LIKE JIM, COULD LOOK FORWARD TO RECEIVING A TOTALLY UNIQUE, AUTHENTIC T-SHIRT EACH MONTH FROM FIREHOUSES ALL ACROSS THE COUNTRY AND THE WORLD.

SINCE ITS INCEPTION, FIREHOUSE SHIRT CLUB HAS FEATURED OVER 80 FIRE STATIONS AND DONATED DIRECTLY BACK TO THOSE FIRE STATIONS IN AN ESTIMATED AMOUNT OF $100,000! NOW, THE CLUB OFFERS UPGRADE OPTIONS INCLUDING PATCHES FROM THE FEATURED FIREHOUSE.

PERIOD.  CREATIVE DIRECTOR & LEAD DESIGNER, ERIC DANIELS (ED), IS A LOCAL FIREFIGHTER/PARAMEDIC AND FATHER.  FORMERLY FIRE GROUND GRAPHICS, ED HAS TRANSITIONED HIS TALENTS INTO EVERY ASPECT OF FIREHOUSE SHIRT CO.  ED AND HIS TEAM COLLECTIVELY HAND-DRAW, DIGITIZE, AND PRINT EVERY SHIRT FROM POINT A TO Z - MAKING SURE THERE IS NO MIDDLE MAN AND THAT ORIGINALITY STAYS IN-HOUSE.  

WE TAKE PRIDE IN KNOWING THIS APPAREL COMPANY BEGINS EVERY PROJECT THROUGH THE HANDS OF FIREFIGHTERS, NOT SOME HIRED ARTIST WITH NO BACKGROUND IN THE SERVICE.

IN FACT WE ARE ONE OF THE LIMITED FEW THAT DRAWS, PRINTS, AND EMBROIDERS CUSTOM WORK IN-HOUSE.  THIS HELPS WITH THE OVERALL PRICE THAT BIG, GENERIC COMPANIES MARK-UP TO SCREEN PRINT AND EMBROIDER.  ANOTHER BIG ADVANTAGE IS SOME COLLEGE KID, OR PART-TIME MOM ISN'T CLIP-ARTING OR TRACING WHAT THEY THINK IS A PIKE POLE, AXE OR NOZZLE AND CALLING IT GOOD.

How long will it take for my shirt to arrive?

All shirts will ship USPS and will usually take 5-10 business days to arrive. We both work on the same shift, so there could be a delay of up to 24 hours until we can get your shirts out to you. Upon receipt of your order, you will receive a confirmation e-mail, then you will receive a second e-mail with a tracking number once your package ships. 

Do you ship internationally?

International shipping is available.  We charge a standard $20 flat rate to ship.  If you would like a tracking number with your order, please contact us as we will have to make special arrangements to ship with a tracking number.

What type of payments do you take?

We gladly accept major credit cards such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover or direct payments, all through PayPal. You do not need a Paypal account to complete your order. Simply checkout as a guest with any of the previous mentioned payment methods, or if you have a Paypal account you may use it as well.

Where do I enter my coupon code? 

At checkout you will be re-directed to Paypal to make your payment. After you have completed filling out all of your personal and payment information, you will be directed to back our site.  This is where you will find the coupon code entry.  Enter the code and finalize your order. 

How secure is the store?

Our store uses PayPal for payments, and PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to ours using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available).

If I'm not satisfied with my purchase how do I get a refund?

If you are not satisfied for any reason with your purchase, you can mail back your unworn item to us within 30 days of the delivery date and we will refund you the purchase amount minus shipping. We've also made a video highlighting how our company feels about refunds.  If you still feel like you would like to return your purchase after watching the video, you can mail it to:

Returns will only be accepted if the item is in 'new condition' and has not been washed or worn. Please include the reason for your return along with your returned item.

 I accidentally ordered the wrong item, can I exchange it?

Yes,our goal is 100% customer satisfaction. Simply return the unworn item within 30 days.  Include a copy of your invoice and a note describing the size you'd like to exchange for and we'll ship it back to you for free.  

What if there is a defect in the product?

If a product is defective, it may be exchanged for a new product which will be shipped to you at no additional charge. We will generate a return label for you and send you a replacement.  Please contact us at hookandirons@gmail.com to advise us of your return or any other questions.

Do you offer wholesale or bulk pricing? 

Yes, but we screen the companies who are interested in carrying Hook & Irons products. We want to make sure that Hook & Irons is a good fit for the companies with which we work. If you would like more information, please contact us and include some background information about your shop/company.

Where did you get your name from?

The Hook & Irons are arguably the most useful and versatile set of tools on the fire ground.  They have in various forms been around for decades and I feel confident that firefighters a hundred years from now will be using these same tools to do the work we all do everyday around this country.  The tools represent strength and versatility.  They are tough and honest.  The hook and the irons are iconic in the fire service and for that reason, we couldn't think of a better name.
